Another great few days at Wild Air – October 2019
“This was our third stay at Wild Air and we were once again well looked after by Clare and Mike. Having been to Mevagissey in summer months we decided to have a late 3 day break at the end of October. We discovered why it’s called Wild Air, but the views of the harbour were immense, with high tides and lots of rolling waves. Our room was very comfortable and provided great tea making facilities. The breakfasts were superb and offered home caught smoked haddock. Clare even provided a National Trust book for Lanhydrock House which we borrowed when we went to visit the property. It was relaxing 3 day break in a special place.”
Our first time – October 2019
“We’ve just enjoyed a fantastic five night stay at Wild Air.
Our friends -who have been visiting this amazing B+B for over ten years-brought us down for an Autumn treat. A wonderful place!
Clare and Mike are brilliant hosts and very welcoming, the rooms clean and super comfortable and the breakfast will set you up all day long!
You do feel like you’re part of the family! Looking forward to returning in the Spring.”
“This was our 6th visit to Wild Air and once again it didn’t disappoint. Beautiful room with a stunning view, fantastic breakfast and the loveliest hosts in Claire and Mike. If you ever get the chance to visit Mevagissey, and you really should, Wild Air is the perfect place to stay.”
“Clare & Michael’s house is a welcoming place with lovely breakfasts to set you up for the day , as Clare’s food is beyond compare !
We took a week’s holiday while our children camped @ Tregarton Park nearby. This guest house is as good as any hotel I have stay.”
“We have just enjoyed a fabulous week at Wild Air Guest House in beautiful Mevagissey .
I stayed here a few years ago whilst walking the Coast Path and I am glad we returned .
Lovely place in a stunning location , overlooking the Harbour and views along the coast , and across St. Austell Bay – just a 5 minute stroll to the Harbour , and only a 10 minute walk the other way to the bay and beach at Portmellon .
Really cosy place – spotlessly clean and well appointed . Well furnished bedroom , plenty of wardrobe and drawer space – really comfy bed and lovely shower and en suite bathroom .
And those views !! – Amazing views from the bedroom , outside balcony , the breakfast room and the patio area – How we miss those views !!!
Lovely breakfasts – A really good choice , and Claire ( the owner ) was very attentive and willing to please !!!
Overall , a fantastic stay at a wonderful B & B – can’t wait to go back again one day
Did I mention those views ???”
